George Mantasas is a professional chef with a respectable amount of experience in private dining and restaurants in Athens and Evia.
He is also one of the professional chefs of Evia Retreats as well as a Mediterranean cooking class curator.
His major area of expertise is Italian and Asian cuisine.
He has accumulated his cooking experience in fine dining at the restaurants below: Palia Agora (Filothei), Gaspar (Psixiko), Riviera Coast (Voula), Atherina (Nea Erythraia), BeerOnUs (Vyronas), 33 Squared The Bar (Vrilissia), Doctor Burger (Chalandri), Pala (Ampelokipoi), Pizza Workshop (Kolonaki), Kitro (Plaka), Gefsinus Catering (Kifisia).
He has also worked along with the famous chef Pino Saccheri both at his restaurant and also as an assistant in private dining events.
The last year, he has moved back to Aliveri in Evia and has opened a Pinseria offering insanely delicious pinsa romana, fresh pasta and other italian delicacies.
Last but not least, he has worked as an executive chef at the Evia Silence Yoga Retreat Center as well as the Riviera Restobar in Eretria.
He pays tribute to this teachers and mentors, Giorgos Anastopoulos and Stratos Iosifellis.
His one and only secret while cooking is to handle everything with respect, work with a clear mind without stress and tension and finally pay extra attention and care to the ingredients.
